Café Amalie
We opened Café Amalie in Altstadt, Heidelberg because we wanted a place we'd actually want to go to ourselves: honest food, proper coffee, a room that feels good at any hour of the day. Everything that can be made in-house is, and what we can't make ourselves we source from people we know and trust. Come hungry, stay a while – that's the whole concept, really.

Do you offer takeaway or delivery?
Many of our dishes are available for takeaway – simply order ahead by phone and pick up. Ask us directly about delivery options and areas.
Can I come with a large group or host an event?
We'd love that. For groups and private celebrations, we'll plan the menu and setup with you individually. Get in touch early so we can reserve the right space for you.
Where can I park?
There are public parking spaces and car parks within walking distance. If you're unsure, give us a quick call and we'll point you to the easiest option.
Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash and major cards. For vouchers or larger parties, we're happy to sort out the details with you in advance.
